Itsuki Matayoshi lives in
Okinawa, an island far to the south of mainland Japan.
He grew up in Okinawa and
has painted all his life. He moved to Oxford in 1995 to study English, and
to paint. In 2000 he returned to Okinawa where he works as an English lecturer
while working on his painting. At the moment he's working on a series 'Beyond the emotional'. |
