Dance in summer field

sing today for life is short;

there is only now.

This is a new project just started so sketches and pictures will appear over the coming two years. The sisters are young women but of the five, only three are still alive and one is very ill. They were, and are, creative, musical, artistic, funny, sometimes sad, struggling mostly, but life affirming and inspirational. That's why I want to paint them.

I've been given lots of pictures and two sisters come to visit. The paintings and drawings will be based on a mixture of photographs, memory and life.
